About Take Root

Have you ever felt like you’re skimming the surface of your Bible reading, but aren’t sure how to go deeper?

Have you ever come to a passage of Scripture that you don’t understand, but aren’t sure how to study it?

Have you ever tried to explain a Bible verse to your kids, but felt a bit lost?

Have you thought about volunteering to lead a Bible study, but aren’t sure where to start?

You’re not alone.

As women who follow Jesus, we want to spend time in His Word and to explain His Word to others. This is a good, right, proper desire that God Himself cultivates in the hearts of His people. The thing is: sometimes we just aren’t sure where to start.

We want to put basic tools in your hands to help you study and teach the Bible. Take Root is a one-day training seminar, open to Christian women of all ages, life stages, or denominational backgrounds. This workshop-based event will equip you with fundamental skills to help you read your Bible with understanding and to explain the Bible in ways that others will understand, too. We will work together to learn how to break-down a Text and interpret it in its context. Together, we will practice finding the main idea in a passage and the best way to express it. Most importantly, we will hear from the Word of God a call to each and every one of us to be students and ambassadors of His Word.

If you are a new believer wondering how to start reading your Bible, or a long-time Christian who wants to dig in deeper as you study the Word – this seminar is for you.

If you are a mother of young children who wants to learn how to explain the Scriptures to them, or a women’s ministry leader wanting to sharpen your Bible teaching skills – this seminar is for you.
